John Campbell

John Campbell McTiernan, Jr. (born January 8, 1951) is an American film director and producer, best known for his action films and most identifiable with the three films he directed back-to-back: Predator, Die Hard, and The Hunt for Red October. McTiernan was born in Albany, New York and attended the Juilliard School before graduating M.F.A. from the AFI Conservatory. The first movie he directed was Nomads (1986), starring Pierce Brosnan. In 1987, he directed the science fiction action film Predator starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The main reason I choose this director was because he has directed films that have been good in the past. He has won many awards. Some film he has directed is predator, Die hard, and nomads.
