Narrative expectation

The music is very cheerful. This immediately shows that the movie will be funny. The music then changes to a rap which shows that this film will include comedy and some action.

The lighting is very bright and you can see the setting is in a place which is hot. This again shows that the film will be enjoyable.

You can see a man with a rather huge beard. He has long black hair. As this is the first picture you can tell that this guy is one of the main characters in the movie.

The man starts talking another language. His actions are funny. Also the two men start doing a funky dance this shows it’s a comedy.

Both characters look similar as they both keep a beard and wear same sort of clothes just in different colour.

Music is only played before the music. When the man comes in the music starts playing again. This shows that he is another main character.

Shot types

A lot of extreme close ups and close ups to show detail such as facial expression and to build the mood.

A long shot is used in the beginning of the film to show the setting

There are close ups used on Shawn Wayans to emphasis his punches on the white male. This gives a bit of emphasis to the film.

Character types

-The two main characters have a facial mask as they are undercover to find out something.

- Shayne Wayan seems to be a funny person in the film because of the way he handles things. His voice is very deep at times which shows he is angry.

- the other man thinks he’s very clever as he gives orders to his partner. He thinks of himself as a person who has authority over others.
