I think our idea for our opening sequence is good but in order to make it work we need to do some research on the different types we can use and what this will portray to the viewer. Also we need to research past films that link in with our opening sequence. This will help is get a better idea of how we will shoot our shots. We have now made a detailed storyboard and have included a shot list. This allowed us to film more quickly as we knew exactly what we had to do. As planning and research is a big part of our coursework we have looked at students blog from previous years. this helped us expand our knowledge on the planning. we are now currently editing our sequence and researching our audience by creating questionnaires.
My involvement so far is that i have done some research into our target audience. I done this by creating a questionnaire that i gave to 10 people. i have analyzed these results and found out that our film is targeted at 15-24 years. To further my research i have also interviewed student. Also i have helped in creating a storyboard of our shots and in the editing of our final sequence. so far my group has worked well together as we have been communicating regularly via email. Also we have all equally participated in the tasks that are needed to be done. Now we have to finalize our editing and start creating a soundtrack.
